Vom 3DVOM3D-001
Builds the vomitories as solids — the side and end walls, the portal opening punched through, and the stair or ramp down to the concourse.
Colored ports carry the chain from one component to the next. The rest are values you set once. Inputs marked ▾ take a Value List: wire one in and it fills with the choices.
Inputs
- Seat Result
SRDThe 2D layout, from Seat or a Cut. It carries the footprints and tread ranges - Wall Thickness
Wall TThickness of the vomitory walls, measured inward (default 150 mm) - Wall Rise
Wall RHow far the end wall rises above the tread behind it (default 600 mm) - Opening Widths
Open WClear width of the portal through the end wall - one per tier (default 2700 mm) - Opening Heights
Open HClear height of the portal from the vomitory floor - one per tier (default 2400 mm) - Stair Width
Stair WWidth of each stair strip, inside the side wall. Type 2 only (default 1200 mm) - Stair Side Mode
▾ StairWhich side the stairs run down: NONE, LEFT, RIGHT or BOTH - one per tier. Type 2 only (default BOTH) - Band Opening Mode
▾ BandWhich end of each vomitory band bent along the rings (drawn in Custom Voms of Custom Seat) keeps its door: BOTH, LEFT or RIGHT - one per band, numbered in Custom Voms order from tier 1 (the Custom Seat message lists the numbers); the last value fills the rest. LEFT is the end towards higher axis numbers - the left end seen from the field on a closed bowl. With several sections, give each section's Vom 3D the same value for a band they share - Assemble Bowl points out a band left open at an end another section closes (default BOTH) - Panel Values
PanelEvery value from Input Panel, as one bundle. Anything you wire in yourself wins over it
Outputs
- Seat Result
SRDThe layout back again, cut range widened for stepped vomitories. Wire THIS on, not the original - Vom Breps
Vom 3DOne branch per tier. Walls, portal surround, and the stair or ramp - Vom Curves
Vom CrvOne branch per tier. The lines the walls were built along - Debug
DebugDeveloper diagnostic output for tracking down bugs. Copy this when reporting a problem
What it does
Band Opening Mode applies to the vomitory bands drawn along the rings in Custom Seat: BOTH keeps a door at each end of a band, LEFT or RIGHT keeps one. Seats are not affected - only the end that is shut gets a wall. In a bowl built from several sections a band is split by the cut, and each end follows the Band Opening Mode of the Vom 3D whose section keeps it - so give every Vom 3D that receives part of the band the same value, for example by wiring one Value List or one Input Panel into all of them. When they differ, Assemble Bowl names the band and the input that kept a door at an end another section closes, as a white remark rather than a warning, since it can be intended.
